Character: Jun Manjyome
Timeline: Episode 136 ~ when he vanishes
Age: 17 years
Personality: Manjyome Jun tends to be very stubborn and is always mistaken as only being selfish and arrogant because of the way he treats others.
He's not the one you would call "liked by everyone" because he is not a really sociable person and prefers being alone sometimes.
Though his heart is in the very right place, he's easily annoyed and hurt by others who don't take the time to try to understand him and why he's the way he is.
Being annoyed or angry about the decisions others make, he ends up shouting at them or running away telling them to leave him alone quite often.
Manjyome's soft side is shown by his love towards one of his classmates, Tenjyoin Asuka, who does not love him back.
Being stubborn and always hard working to achieve his aims, he still, after three long years, does not think of giving up.
Although there are not many people he can call "friend", or at least does not want to because he believes he would not need any friends, he's on good terms with Asuka's elder brother, Fubuki, who wants to help Manjyome and Asuka becoming a couple.
Asuka already rejected him couple of times, which is why he's depressed quite often, but he still keeps up confessing to her and helping her in lots of situations.
The reason she does not go out with him is another one for being depressed tons of times, Yuki Judai, his rival in duelling and being top duelist of Duel Academy, is the one Asuka likes, too.
Background: Manjyome Jun is the son of one of Japan's top companies, the Manjyome Group, which rules the financial and economic world.
His elder brothers Shouji and Chosaku share these two sectors with each other and mainly have control about the whole group.
They want Jun to become the top star of the Dueling world to make sure the Manjyome Group rules everything.
Jun never recieve a lot of respect and love from them so he tries hard to be suitable to his family's high standards and fulfill his brothers' wishes.
He arrives at Duel Academy ranked Obelisk Blue because of his family's money and tries to beat everyone there, but fails already during the second night of his stay there to a Osiris Red named Yuki Judai.
Loosing agianst him and another rival, the Ra Yellow Misawa Daiichi, Manjyome choses to leave the island and visits North Academy instead.
Soon he's the No. 1 duelist there and comes back in order to beat Judai in front his brothers' eyes, to gain their trust again.
He is not able to win, not even being the King of North Academy, so his brothers decide to disown him.
After that he stayes at DA and tries to achieve the goal of being number one for his own benifit, eventhough he duels his brother Chosaku later to gain some respect and save the DA from being bought by Manjyome Group.
During all of the series, from the very beginning, his love to Tenjyoin Asuka is implied.
He confesses to her later, recognizing he can't live withouht telling her and is assisted by her brother Fubuki, who suggests it would be a good idea confessing during a duel with her, which leads to a failure.
At the beginning of season 2 Manjyome becomes a member of the Hikari no Kessha (Society of light), which makes him become like he was in the very beginning, arrogant and caring for no body but himself and, now, his master Saiou Takuma.
Asuka wants to stop him, fails and becomes a member of the Kessha as well, never leaving his side in process.
Judai manages to rescue Manjyome, who appeares to be brain washed, and later Asuka.
The reason for him vanishing in some different dimension was Anderson Johan, Judai's best friend who sacrificed hisself to bring everyone else home safely.
They wanted to rescue him, but Judai lost the others(Manjyome/Asuka/Fubuki/Kenzan) during a duel, searching for Johan.

Sample RP: Manjyome opened his eyes slowly. They did hurt, as did the rest of him, while trying to stand up properly.
When he first was able to take a look at his surroundings various thoughts were flashing through his mind at the very same time.
He even had some flashbacks, which just could not be a good sign.
Was he dead?
The place that he was looking at now seemed to be the picture of the Apocalypsis, everything destroyed, nobody to be seen except him.
How could he be the only one surving this?
This does not make any sense at all.
How did I get here?... Where's Tenjyoin-kun?
He kept wondering about these two things... the one he valued the most, while he walked around for some time, looking at all of the shattered buildings closely.
The only thing that was important know was Asuka and when he would have the chance to look into her beautiful brown eyes again...
